New York, NY (November 2017) – Sakroots invites you to step into a field of wildflowers as it presents its newest seasonal print: In Bloom. Featuring original artwork by British artist Danielle Foye, In Bloom has a bold floral theme highlighted by the most spirited of springtime insects, the bee, the monarch butterfly, and the ladybug.

Danielle drew her inspiration (literally) from local botanicals and creatures found throughout gardens in the English countryside and blended those with flowers indigenous to northern California, the birthplace of Sakroots. Butterflies flutter and bees buzz amongst California Poppies, Columbines, Douglas Irises, and Daisies, reflected in a fresh color palette of sunny yellows, lush lavenders, bright turquoise and fiery oranges set against a crisp and neutral background. The print will be found in a full lifestyle collection which includes canvas and coated canvas bags, footwear (including rainboots, slides, sandals and slip-ons), travel and tech accessories, wristlets, wallets, stationery, fashion accessories and jewelry.

"We are excited to unveil our latest artist-driven pattern, In Bloom,” said Aaron Duncan, CMO & Creative Director of Sakroots. "In addition to the beauty of the pattern itself, our mission is even more beautiful, as we honor the bee as our chosen ‘critter’ this season.

Every season, Sakroots partners with an artist to create a new pattern. Nestled inside each pattern is a "critter" - in this case, a bee - which is then honored by the brand.

The Bee Cause Project, a non-profit whose charitable purpose is to ensure future generations are stewards of the natural environment who understand, engage, and are inspired by the wonder of bees while being empowered to take action through careers in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics). “I find a massive amount of inspiration from nature, particularly flowers and animals. I personally appreciate the simple things in my surrounding and for the Sakroots In Bloom print, I brought these elements together in an array of bright colors," said Danielle Foye.
